How to Compare Structure Manufacturers

ENSOL Engineering TeamPublished 2026-03-011 min read

Comparing manufacturers is easier with a consistent framework. Score each on the same criteria rather than price alone.

Comparison criteria

Compare engineering (site-specific design), coating (type and verified thickness), certifications (ISO/CPRI/NABL), capacity, lead time and documentation.

Price in context

The lowest price often reflects thinner coating or generic design. Normalise by coating thickness and design basis before comparing cost.

Frequently asked questions

Should I choose the lowest quote?
Not on price alone — a thin coating or generic design can cost far more in early corrosion or failure. Compare like-for-like.
