How to Choose a Solar Structure Manufacturer

ENSOL Engineering TeamPublished 2026-03-011 min read

Choosing a solar structure manufacturer comes down to engineering capability, coating quality, certifications and reliable delivery. Here is what to check.

Engineering capability

Confirm the manufacturer does site-specific wind (IS 875) and seismic (IS 1893) design — not generic sizing — and can proof-check where schemes require it.

Coating and durability

Check the coatings offered (GP, GL, ZAM, HDGI) and that coating thickness is verified to IS 4759 / ISO 1461. Coating decides real service life.

Certifications and track record

Look for ISO 9001:2015, CPRI/NABL-verified quality and a real client track record. ENSOL, manufacturing since 1982, meets these with clients including BHEL, ABB, KEC and NMDC.

Delivery and documentation

Confirm pan-India supply, pre-punched members for fast assembly, and test certificates/documentation with dispatch.
